Uffici Mondadori

Publisher's headquarters

The offices of Mondadori publishers face onto the Idroscala on the Rivoltana road past Ortica.

Designed in 1976 by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, the building was designed to be functional and representative of the company.

The complex is divided into 2 parts: a five storey building for administrative offices and a low one where the canteen and magazine offices are.

The main, parallelepiped building is made entirely from glass panels and crowned by a spectacular structure in reinforced concrete of tall, different shaped arches that wrap around the building making it stand out in the surrounding environment.
