How to get around the metro
There are currently three metro lines in Milan. The number one line is red, the number two is green and the number three is yellow. A railway service is currently being developed which will link all the Milanese train stations as well as a fourth metro line.
Line one links the north of Milan, Sesto San Giovanni with Pagano, the Fiera area, and passes through the centre. From Pagano is goes towards Molino Dorino in the San Siro area on one track and Bisceglie on the other.
Line two links the Ticinese area with the north east of Milan, Cascina Gobba. From here it goes to Cologno Minzese. It also goes through the centre on another track which passes through the Cadorna, Garibaldi and Central Stations. It crosses line one at Cadorna and Loreto, and line three at the Central Station.
Line 3 links the Isola area, at Viale Zara, with the South East of Milan, at San Donato Milanese, and also passes through the city centre. It crosses line one at the Duomo and line two at the Central Station.
