Milan
Wrought iron and ceramics
Built in one of the main bourgeois districts, as the city planning documents by Cesare Beruto (1884) identify this area, this building was constructed by Enrico Donzelli in 1903-1904 and designed by Ulisse Stacchini. The style of the house is characteristic of the themes that the architect would later develop for Milan's Central Station and Monza Cemetery. Alternating volumes and spaces, and the use of loggias, decorations in ceramic and wrought iron are typical of this architect's work.
