This observatory is located in an important palace which was built by Francesco Maria Richini from a design by Martino Bassi in 1615. Maria Teresa d'Austria enlarged the building in the seventeenth century. The last restoration took six years and was completed in 1991. Guided visits and conferences are available. Admission EUR2.50.
