Flower festival
This festival takes place on the banks of the canal, surrounded by low, country style houses and stone bridges. On a sunny day, with gentle winds, small and large retailers fill the streets with their wares. Roads are closed in the surrounding areas for this occasion and restaurants and bars are open in the exhibiting streets and flowers to suit all tastes are on display including roses, peonies, gardenias, irises and bonsai trees. The festival takes place every year in the month of April from morning until night.
