Seventeenth-century church by Östermalmstorg
Hedvig Eleonora church was built between 1656 and 1672. Several architects were involved, among them Jean de la Vallée and Göran J Adelkrantz. The church has plain, plastered walls. The interior is in high Baroque style, with an octagonal floor plan, a high dome and marbled Corinthian columns.
