Uniquely placed between Paris, Amsterdam and London. It is hard not to fall in love with this charming and quaint country. Although the size may be deceiving, this country has more history, art, food, and architecture per square inch than many of its bigger, louder neighbors. From the lace beer and chocolate, to the lively local markets, festivals, folklore, opera and jazz, the culture abounds in this tiny country on the North Sea.
Belgium's weather is generally temperate. Expect warm to hot weather from May to September and cold, snowy weather in the winter months - temperatures, however, are rarely extreme. Rain can fall any time during the year.
Bordered by France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the North Sea, Belgium is a country of rivers and gorges, plains and coast.
