groves of Virgin Coastal Redwoods which are among the oldest and tallest trees in the world reaching heights of up to 258 feet and averaging 500-800 years of age. Explore the trails leading you into the heart of its cathedral-like grove. On your way back to the city, stop in Sausalito, an alluring village of art galleries, quaint shops and waterfront restaurants with views of San Francisco across the bay. Its cliff-hanging cottages and houseboat community create a Mediterranean ambience, but the locals you will see are
pure "California." Tour duration: 3.5 hours. |
Napa Valley - Hot Air BallooningRise early for the experience of a lifetime! Your hot air balloon flight begins at sunrise in the most scenic areas of the Upper Napa Valley -- Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga – as determined by the winds. Soar peacefully in colorful hot air balloons and float silently above the trees and fields, lush vineyards and orchards and world-renown wineries. The sensation of ballooning is very gentle and its calming effect seems to put the world below into perspective. Your pilots are all experienced, professional and FAA commercially rated. They are familiar with the valley and dedicated to ensuring that your ballooning experience is safe, informative, memorable and fun! Tour duration: 3.5 hours (Weather-permitting). |

Crossing from the historic to the futuristic, your tour returns through the Silicon Valley, the high tech capital of the United States. Tour duration: 11 hours. |
Napa Valley - Napa Valley Wine TrainEnjoy a freshly prepared lunch aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train while vineyards and wineries pass by outside your window on a relaxing round-trip journey between the historic town of Napa through one of the world's most famous wine valleys to the quaint village of St. Helena and back. The tracks upon which the Napa Valley Wine Train runs were originally built in the 1860s to bring guests to the hot spring resort town of Calistoga. While the track to Calistoga no longer exists, much of the rest of the route of the Napa Valley Wine Train is unchanged. Due to the immense influence that rail transport had over the development of the communities and wineries of the Napa Valley, there is no shortage of sights to see during the three hour journey. Five towns; Napa, Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford and St. Helena; and numerous wineries can be seen through the large picture windows on board the Wine Train. |
