What do you get when you combine the world oldest pyramds, Biblical sites, well preserved cities, a relaxing Nile cruise, and even a former movie set? The perfect tour of Egypt and Jordan. Start in Egypt’s capital, Cairo, where you will not only see the Pyramids and the Sphinx but also the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, the oldest stone building in the world. Fly to Luxor to begin 4-nights on a luxury cruise on the Nile. See the Luxor Temple and the temple of Karnak, the largest temple ever built by man. On your way to Edfu, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and go into the Valley of the Kings. Further south, visit the Temple of Horus, Temple of Sobek in Kom Ombo and the Aswan High Dam. From Aswan fly back to Cairo for 1-night and enjoy the Salah El Din Citadel and a highlight visit to the Egyptian Museum to bring together all of the history you’ve just witnessed.

Next, fly to Amman, Jordan. Explore the ruins at the amazingly preserved city of Jerash, visit the ruins of Artemis and Zeus and continue to Madab to see St. George’s church. In Petra, prepare to be amazed as you wind through the narrow gorge to the hidden city. Explore the Treasury and Roman Amphithatre, which once seated over 3000 spectators. Heading back towards Amman, visit two 12th century crusader fortresses before one final night surrounded by history!
