Experience the highlights of Normandy, Brittany & the Loire Valley on this 10-day trip. Begin your adventure in Paris, city of lights, with an illumination tour with your Tour Director and group. The next day travel to Versailles to visit this immense palace. The fantastic day of sightseeing continues with stops in Rouen to see the cathedral and then on to Trouville, a charming seaside resort to spend the night. You are surrounded by WWII history as you drive along the beaches of the D-Day landings Visit the Invasion Landings’ Museum before heading to Omaha Beach to visit the American Military Cemetery. Follow the route of the Rangers to the Rangers’ Memorial before arriving at your hotel near Mont St Michel. Take a locally guided tour of the abbey before head for the coast to St Malo to learn more about the distinctive Breton lifestyle.
Drive south into the Loire Valley. Drive past the sleeping beauty chateau at Usse en route to the gorgeous Chateau de Rochecotte, your home for 2 nights. While in the Loire Valley visit Azay le Rideau and the chateau of Villandry. See the cathedral at Chartres on your way to Paris. You will see the Notre Dame and drive along the Champs Elysees past the Arc de Triomphe on your way to the Eiffel Tower and also have plenty of time to explore village Paris on your own. Perhaps enjoy your last night in France with a can-can show or a Farewell Dinner and continue to soak in the ambiance of Paris!
