village of Robin Hood’s Bay, nestled on the Yorkshire coast, then on to the fishing port of Whitby. Today’s highlight is a visit to Chatsworth House, voted the most popular stately home in Britain. This home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire contains one of Europe’s finest collections of treasures including works by Rembrandt and Van Dyck.
