| Day 2 Arrive Glasgow - Edinburgh: |

Arrive in Glasgow and transfer to Edinburgh for a relaxing 2-night stay. This evening enjoy a Welcome Reception and dinner with your Tour Director and fellow traveling companions.

| Day 3 Edinburgh: |

Bustling Princes Street, the Royal Mile, views of Holyrood House where Mary Queen of Scots once lived, and a visit to imposing Edinburgh Castle are all included on our guided tour of Scotland’s capital! End the tour with a special Explore & Discover™ visit to the new Scottish Parliament and hear about Scotland’s new found “independence” and devolution. Time this afternoon to follow in the steps of Royalty with an optional visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia, or join the fun at an optional Scottish evening of dancing, bagpipes

| Day 4 Edinburgh - Balmoral - St. Andrews - Hidden Scotland/Highlands: |

After a morning stop at St. Andrews, the home of golf and the famous Old Course, continue to visit Balmoral Castle, the Royal Family’s Scottish retreat. (Visit Glamis Castle when the Queen is in residence at Balmoral). End the day with a fascinating Explore & Discover™ event in Hidden Scotland. Learn first hand about life on a Scottish sheepdog farm, enjoy a sheepdog demonstration, and hear from the shepherd about the realities of maintaining this rural life in the 21st-century. Overnight in the Scottish Highlands.

| Day 5 Highlands - Culloden - Loch Ness - Isle of Skye: |

Morning stop at the Culloden Battle Visitor Center. Later look out for the monster at Loch Ness. Pause by Eilean Donan Castle before crossing over to the Isle of Skye for 2 relaxing nights.

A full day to explore the
romantic Isle of Skye. Stop in the capital of Portree
before visiting Dunvegan Castle, for 800 years a
stronghold of the chiefs of Clan MacLeod. Learn
about Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora MacDonald
before returning by the Cullin Hills to your hotel.

| Day 7 Isle of Skye - Loch Lomond - Glasgow: |

Visit the Clan Donald Center before
crossing the Sound of Sleat to the Scottish Mainland.
Continue via eerie Glencoe, sight of the massacre
of the McDonald clan, to the bonnie banks of Loch
Lomond for a scenic highlight cruise. Then arrive in Scotland’s second city, Glasgow, for 2 leisurely nights.

After a visit to a Scottish woolen mill and a stop at Gretna Green, drive through the Lake District National Park to Grasmere, home of the poet William Wordsworth. Continue to York for 3 relaxing nights.

Morning tour of this walled city includes a visit to York Minster, the largest medieval church in England, and the narrow streets in the
famous Shambles.

First stop today is the old smugglers’
village of Robin Hood’s Bay, nestled on the Yorkshire coast, then on to the fishing port of Whitby. Later enjoy one of England’s hidden treasures as we board our steam train for the journey through the heart of the North York Moors National Park to the historic market town of Pickering. After free time, return to York for an evening at leisure.

Today’s highlight is a visit to Chatsworth House, voted the most popular stately home in Britain. This home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire contains one of Europe’s finest collections of treasures including works by Rembrandt and Van Dyck. Continue on to medieval Chester with its Cathedral, half-timbered houses, town walls and quaint 13th-century Rows.

After breakfast, drive to Llangollen. Continue to
see Caerphilly Castle, then back into England for
2 relaxing nights on the edge of the Cotswolds in

Our Bath sightseeing visits the ancient Roman Baths and Pump Room. Next stop, Oxford, home to scholars for 800 years, to visit one of its elite colleges. Continue via the scenic villages of the Cotswolds, such as medieval Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway.

| Day 15 Bristol - Stonehenge - London: |

In Salisbury we view the magnificent 13th-century Gothic Cathedral and later visit prehistoric Stonehenge. After a scenic drive through England’s West Country, visit King Henry VIII’s Hampton Court Palace Gardens. Continue to London for a 2-night stay.

Guided sightseeing with our local expert includes views of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square,
Westminster Abbey and the Changing of the Guard

visit Madame Tussauds. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your new friends and look back on your “Great Britain” tour!
