Day 1 USA-Dublin:
Overnight flight to Dublin.

Day 2 Arrive Dublin:
Arrive in Dublin, the capital of Ireland, for a relaxing 2-night stay. This evening enjoy a Welcome Reception with your Tour Director and traveling companions.

Day 3 Dublin:
Our guided sightseeing tour of Dublin highlights the Georgian elegance and includes views of statue-lined O’Connell Street and historic Phoenix Park. Visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College to see the 1200-year-old Book of Kells and the Old Library. Then, enjoy a highlight visit to the pretty seaside town of Malahide. We visit Malahide Castle and see the famous staterooms and Ireland’s only surviving Great Hall. Free time this evening to enjoy a cabaret with “Riverdance” style dancers, fiddlers’ jigs and Irish songs.

Day 4 Dublin - Kildare - Kilkenny - Waterford:
After leaving Dublin, we stop in Kildare for a visit to the Irish National Stud Farm. Continue to Kilkenny, an outstanding medieval town where we have a walking tour to visit the 13th-century castle situated high on the banks of the River Nore. This afternoon, we arrive in Waterford for a relaxing 2-night stay.

Day 5 Waterford (Waterford Glass Factory Included):
We begin the day with a visit to the famous crystal factory where in this working environment you will see up close the process of producing the world’s most famous crystal. Continue with a visit to the famous Rock of Cashel, home of the original cross of St. Patrick and Ireland’s very own Acropolis.

Day 6 Waterford - Blarney - Killarney:
Today, a special Explore & Discover™ event as we bring you closer to the heart of the Emerald Isle. We are invited into a private home and enjoy warm Irish hospitality during this farm visit. Savor a homemade scone while we are entertained with a personal insight into rural Irish life. Later we visit Blarney Castle with its magical Stone of Eloquence before arriving in Killarney in the “Kingdom of Kerry” for 2 relaxing nights.

Day 7 Killarney (Ring of Kerry Included):
An exciting day of travel as we experience one of the most famous drives in all of Europe - around the famous “Ring of Kerry”. The shimmering lakes of Killarney from Queen Victoria’s “Ladies View”, the peat bogs of the Black Mountains, Chaplin’s hideaway of Waterville. Back in Killarney enjoy a memorable highlight Jaunting Car Ride. This is Ireland as you’ve always imagined it!

Day 8 Killarney - Tralee - Co. Limerick:
First we enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Dingle Peninsula, a land of blue gold hills and setting of the movie “Ryan’s Daughter”. In Tralee we visit “Kerry the Kingdom” where a unique exhibit shows us the sights, sounds and even smells of a typical market scene of 1450. In County Limerick this evening, perhaps join an optional medieval banquet at an Irish castle and enjoy a noble’s life from Middle Ages!

Day 9 Limerick - Cliffs of Moher - Galway:
In Limerick, a city with a charter older than London’s, we visit King John’s Castle and enjoy the sights of Ireland’s third city on the lordly River Shannon. We then stop by the 700-foot Cliffs of Moher with the breathtaking vistas of the Clare Coast. Next more stunning scenery as we cross the beautiful Burren, an eerie 100-squaremile limestone region famed for its natural mysteries and whose rivers have disappeared underground. Continue to Galway for an orientation drive, which shows the Church of St. Nicholas, patron saint of sailors, where Columbus is said to have worshipped, and Eyre Square dedicated to President John F. Kennedy who visited Galway in 1963.

Day 10 Galway - Connemara - Knock - County Donegal:
Our first stop this morning is a visit to Kylemore Abbey, the imposing castle of the Benedictine Nuns whose restoration has been supported on both sides of the Atlantic. Then through the Connemara region to Knock, where we pause at the Marian Shrine which is famous all over the world since the townspeople saw apparitions. Later arrive in County Donegal for 3 relaxing nights.

Day 11 County Donegal (Belleek Included):
Breathtaking vistas of Donegal Bay form the backdrop for today’s tour. Pause in the fishing port of Killybegs and look out for the white stone cottages with their own turf stacks. This afternoon we visit the Belleek Pottery Factory in County Fermanagh. With a personal guide, you will see the process from the mold to the kiln and meet the crafts people who produce this world famous pottery.

Day 12 County Donegal:
A full day at leisure or join a fascinating optional excursion to Omagh, where we visit the Ulster American Folk Park, an open-air museum which traces Irish regional traditions and culture through the ages and highlights the generations of Irish emigration to the USA.

Day 13 County Donegal - Dublin:
This morning we stop in Drumcliff to visit the famous poet William Butler Yeats’ grave. Next stop is Carrick-on-Shannon for a cruise along this romantic Irish river before returning to Dublin’s “Fair City” to enjoy a Highlight Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.

We bid Farewell to Ireland.
