Traditional Highlights
Washington DC city tour
The White House Washington DC provides a vast variety of attractions. The entire city is a living monument to the life, culture, and history of the United States of America. The tour, conducted by a local guide offers a view of the most famous landmarks, including the White House, Washington Monument and the Mall. The World War II and Lincoln Memorials are included stops. |
MonticelloMonticello: the beautiful estate of Thomas Jefferson, author of The Declaration of Independence and third president of the United States. Jefferson began construction of this 11,000 square foot home in 1769, when he was 26 years old. Located near Charlottesville, Virginia, Monticello was built according to Jefferson’s own design. The classical architecture of the home is reflective of the work of Italian architect Andrea Palladio, whose style Jefferson greatly admired |
Arlington National CemetaryArlington National Cemetery is the final resting place for more than 300,000 of United States servicemen and women. The white headstones of Arlington, situated in perfect rows, mark the graves of veterans from each of the nation’s wars from the Revolutionary war to present conflicts abroad. The most visited site on the nearly 200 acres of land is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier where three “unknowns” were initially buried. Each soldier represents all of the unidentified soldiers from his war: WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam War. This monument to the nation’s fallen and unknown heroes is guarded 24 hours a day and 365 days a year by specifically dedicated soldiers in the US Army. This ceremonial guarding is a touching display of reverence for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country. |
Shenandoah National ParkShenandoah National Park, designated as a national park by congress in 1926 consists of 280 square miles of land nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains. The park is quite unique in its heritage: once a highly populated farm and ranch area, the park went from an area depleted in natural resources to a lush wilderness. The forests are now mature, and two thirds of the land have now been designated as wilderness. The Skyline Drive, the favorite route through the length of the park, winds along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains and provides a spectacular view of the surrounding area. |
Mount VernonMount Vernon was the family home of General George Washington, the first president of the United States. Overlooking the Potomac River, this neoclassical Georgian style estate is a National Historic Landmark. |
Gettysburg National Military ParkAppreciate the battle of Gettysburg, the pivotal battle of the Civil War, as we tour Gettysburg National Military Park with a local guide. It was the Civil War’s bloodiest battle: 51, 000 men gave their lives on this field. Later, President Abraham Lincoln would honor the sacrifice of these patriots in his famous Gettysburg Address given here. |
Yorktown Victory CenterYorktown Victory Center brings the Revolutionary War Era alive through an interactive reenactment of life during the Revolution. The decisive battle of the American Revolution was waged at Yorktown, and the Continental Army led by General Washington encamped there. Re-enactors demonstrate life, customs and practices of the period. |
National Constitution CenterNational Constitution Center is the award winning museum dedicated to the US Constitution. Through interactive exhibits and historical artifacts surrounding the history of the Constitution, the National Constitution Center is committed to teaching the importance and relevance of this living document. |
Colonial WilliamsburgColonial Williamsburg brings to life Colonial America to life. As you stroll along the Duke of Gloucester Street, you will meet the townspeople, adorned in period costume, going about their daily lives in faithfully restored shops, taverns and homes. |
Independence National Historical ParkIndependence National Historical Park houses Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Independence Hall is famous for the great and courageous signing of The Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The Liberty Bell is a great symbol of the American Revolution and was reported to have been rung to summon the citizens of Philadelphia for the announcement of independence and the reading of the Declaration. |

"Pre-Existing Condition" means an illness, disease, or other condition during the 60-day period immediately prior to your effective date for which you or your Traveling Companion, Business Partner or Immediate Family Member who is scheduled or booked to travel with you: 1)received or received a recommendation for a diagnostic test, examination for a diagnostic test, examination or, or medical treatment; or 2)took or received a prescription for drugs or medicine .
Item 2) of this definition does not apply to a condition which is treated or controlled solely through the taking of prescription drugs or medicine and remains treated or controlled without any adjustment or change in the required prescription throughout the 60-day period before coverage is effective under this Policy.
Waiver of the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion:
The Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion is waived provided you meet all of the following requirements:

Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation:
In the event that a covered illness or injury requires air or ground transportation to a specialized facility or to return home, the plan provides covered medical services and supplies (as coordinated by our 24-hour Assistance provider, to help ensure your safe transport). The plan also provides payment for transportation of mortal remains in the event of death that occurs during the Tour.
Medical & Dental Expenses:
Should you become injured or sick during your vacation, the plan will reimburse you for necessary medical expenses for up to one year from the date of your accident or illness.
