DAY 6 Cruising the Moscow Canal &Volga River, Uglich

Cruise the Moscow Canal before arriving in Uglich, a delightful Golden Ring city. Visit the Church of St. Dimitry, built to honor the slain son of Ivan the Terrible, and spend some free time browsing the local market area, replete with small shops and artisan-vendor’s stalls.

DAY 7 Yaroslavl, cruising Lake Rybinsk

Yaroslavl is considered one of Russia’s most beautiful cities. You’ll visit the town’s exquisite Church of Elijah the Prophet, and delight in a tasting of the local produce at the farmers market.

DAY 8 Goritsy

Experience how locals live as you learn how traditions and handicraft techniques are preserved during a visit to the Children’s House of Arts and Crafts. Take in a wood construction workshop, then stroll the grounds of 14th-century St. Cyrill of the White Lake Monastery.

DAY 9 Cruising Lake Onega, Kizhi Island

DAY 10 Cruising the Svir River, Mandrogi
