Japan

Tokyo, the capital city, is one of the financial capitals of the world, and the home of many corporate headquarters, but still retains the authenticity of the Japanese culture. Just a few blocks from the financial district are local shops and restaurants tucked between soaring office buildings and apartments. Here, kimono-clad merchants will beckon shoppers and diners to enter their establishments.
A good deal of Japanese culture and tradition is carried on through art, architecture, music and literature. The genuine and distinct style is what has helped sustain the unique flavor that makes this culture so different from any of Japan's neighbors.
