Enjoy the scenic beauty of Scandinavia on our 16-day Spectacular Scandinavia & its Fjords. Begin in Copenhagen and see the Little Mermaid, Christiansborg and Rosenborg & Amalienborg Palaces. Cross over the Island of Fyn to visit Odense, home to the Hans Christian Anderson’s museum and then continue on to Frederikshavn. Bid farewell to Denmark and cross into Sweden and Stockholm, “the city that floats”. In Stockholm see why this capital is such a delightful city. Visit City Hall’s “Gold Room”, view the cathedral and walk through Old Town to see the Royal Palace before visiting Wasa Galleon. From Stockholm travel via Lake Malaren to Sigtuna to see the countrys smallest city hall. Continue through rural Sweden to the ski resort of Falun.

Enjoy a scenic drive along Lake Siljan into Norway, crossing past the Olympic ice skating rink on your way to Lillehammer. Visit the Maihaugen open-air museum and continue into Fjordland! Marvel at this unique landscape as you see the 12th-century Stave Church at Lom on your way to Geiranger, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy more spectacular sightseeing as you drive past cliffs and waterfalls before ferrying to Laerdal for the night. Take a cruise on Sognefjord, the worlds deepest and longest fjord and then board the Flam Reilway, ascending from sea level to 3000ft with breathtaking scenery the entire way. In Bergen see the colorful fish market or perhaps ascend Mt Ulriken by cable car before heading over the rugged landscape east to Oslo See the Royal Palace and Akerhus Castle as well as the controversial sculptures at Frogner Park. On your final night in spectacular Scandinavia enjoy a festive celebration dinner!
