Rome - The Basilicas and Catacombs of Early Christian RomeAn emotional tour to follow the early steps of the Christian community in Rome. Visit the Catacombs along the Appian Way to understand the meaning and the risks of being a Christian in those days. We then continue to St. Paul outside the Walls, one of the most beautiful and important basilicas in Rome built on the tomb of St. Paul and modeled on a true pagan Roman basilica. |
Venice – Venice by NightOur evening begins with a sail along the Grand Canal to Rialto Bridge. Sorrento – Highlights of CapriOnce in Capri, visit the island highlights: first, a cruise by private boat to the exclusive Marina Piccola area shows us the awesome Tiberius’ leap (where the Roman Emperor discarded his unwanted lovers!) and the world famous Faraglioni rocks, where we admire the amazing natural rock formations which characterize the island. Back in Marina Grande a Funicular takes us up to the town of Capri for a beautiful extended visit to the splendors of this exclusive site.* |
Venice – Burano Island & Lunch/ DinnerToday we take a private launch across the serene waters of the Lagoon to view the charming islands such as Murano, Torcello and St. Francesco Del Deserto. Escaping the crowds, we stop at the charming fisherman’s island of Burano, famous for its lace school. We make our way to a lovely restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal of regional specialties accompanied by unlimited wine! Time to wander the colorful attractive streets and shop for lace. Como – Lake Como CruiseThe splendid villas of Lake Como are situated in one of the most renowned locations in Italy at the foot of the Italian and Swiss Alps.
