Meet Skyler

Skyler grew up in Oregon and received her Bachelor’s in Social Sciences at Portland State University.

Working in the travel industry has been an interest of hers since her first job at a hotel restaurant. It's one of her goals to visit every destination on her “Top Destinations” list within the next ten years, starting with Ireland.

While traveling, Skyler loves to get up in the morning, sip coffee, and appreciate experiencing life in a new, exciting place. Her advice? Get a taste of the café culture wherever you are – try a unique style of coffee or a new espresso drink and sit with the locals if you get the chance.

Skyler also suggests connecting with as many people as you can when you're in a new place, as you never know what you’ll learn or who you’ll meet – that’s what travel is all about. Plus, making friends means you get to travel more to visit their hometowns! When you know someone in a new place, you have all the more reason to go there.

I have a bit of Irish in my blood and would love to hike anywhere, visit the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, and the Wicklow Mountains because of the movie P.S. I Love You (one of my favorites).
