Photo of the Month: The Amalfi Coast

April’s photo of the month features Italy’s awe-inspiring Amalfi Coast. Thanks to our past travel guests Nick and Eliane for sharing this photo with us!

Perhaps Italy’s most scenic stretch of coastline, the area was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997 as “an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, with exceptional cultural and natural scenic values.”

You can experience the best of the Amalfi Coast –including a visit to the Island of Capri — on our 13-day Unforgettable Italy guided vacation.

What a gorgeous shot! I’ve been all over Italy – up, down, coastal, and inner towns – and this is one of my favorite spots. In fact, I’m reminiscing and dreaming about a return with my “On My Radar: April” post, using the Amalfi Coast as my must. For all things travel at home and away that caught my eye… http://wp.me/p3UGiL-147

    So lovely! 🙂
