It is hard to grasp how much our world has changed over the past year due to COVID-19 and the impact it has had on our everyday lives and our ability to travel. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate through these challenging times together.

As we continue to live and operate alongside COVID-19, the virus continues to create a set of challenges that are unfortunately outside of our control. We continue to review the travel restrictions imposed by government advisories worldwide on a daily basis. We want you to have peace of mind knowing that there is no urgency for you to make any future travel decisions right now.
Should your tour be impacted and unable to operate, your booking agent will contact you directly approximately 45-60 days prior to your tour’s planned start date.
If your booked tour is suspended, we will automatically issued you a Future Travel Credit (FTC) for the full value of the land portion of your tour, to use for travel before 31 December 2022. Your FTC will be attached to your original booking reference held with the Lead Passenger on your booking.
You are eligible to either:
- Rebook now, and change your travel dates or destination to any tour departing up until 31 December 2022 without penalty on the land portion of your tour. Any discounts (of up to 15%) that had been applied to your original booking will be transferred and applied to your new booking. *
- Elect to hold a Future Travel Credit of the full amount paid for the land portion of the suspended vacation, redeemable against any new booking for travel to any destination departing before December 31, 2022. **

Future Travel Credit FAQ's
Have peace of mind knowing you have the flexibility to change the land portion of your trip to a new destination or date, free of charge until 60 days prior to departure. Please note that you are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations.*
Please also rest assured that our distancing and hygiene protocols on all of our trips meet requirements put forth by world health and local authorities, including the World Health Organization (WHO). An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the World Health Organization, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
We ask that you please take personal responsibility for your well-being. This begins with packing any personal protective equipment and sanitizers you require. Please adopt physical distancing and hygiene practices throughout your pre-trip travel arrangements and follow all health instructions whether physical signage or requests from our professional staff once you are vacationing with us.
In choosing to travel Grand European Travel and any of its associated brands (including Trafalgar, Costsaver, Brendan Vacations, Insight Vacation, and Luxury Gold), you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

* The temporary change fee waiver only applies to the land portion of all trips and does not apply to group bookings. If you choose a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, you are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a Future Travel Credit will be issued for the difference. Please note, however, you are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations.
** If you select this option, the new invoice will serve as the Future Travel Credit confirmation. A Future Travel Credit will be issued in the value of the amount paid for the land portion of the trip and is not redeemable for cash. The Future Travel Credit amount will stay assigned to the original booking number and can be transferred to another person. If you purchased Travel Insurance with us, your insurance premium will be moved to your future booking but cannot be transferred to another person. If the new booking is more expensive, additional premiums may be due to ensure Travel Insurance coverage on the new booking. To redeem the Future Travel Credit, just give us the booking reference number when calling to make the new reservation departing at any time before December 31, 2022. If the new trip or departure is more expensive than the original, you will be responsible for the difference in price; if the new trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a Future Travel Credit will be issued for the difference. Discounts applied to the original booking will be transferred to the new booking up to 15%. These transferred discounts are not combinable with any land promotions available at the time of booking the new trip. If discounts of more than 15% are available at the time of booking, then the transferred discounts can be removed. Please note that you are responsible for any airline penalties imposed due to trip changes and/or cancellations. This offer may be withdrawn at any time and other restrictions may apply.

UNIWORLD RIVER CRUISES
Cancellation Policy for 2022 departures only
Standard cancellation rules apply for those departing in 2022 as listed below. Any funds transferred or future travel certificates used from a 2020 or 2021 booking and applied to a 2022 reservation due to COVID-19, are non-refundable. Once applied to a reservation, should your travel plans change 120 days or more prior to the departure date a Future Travel Certificate will be issued in the amount originally applied to the 2022 booking, less any non-refundable items. Should your plans change 120 days or less prior to the departure date of the reservation these funds are non-refundable and will not be applicable to a future booking, nor will you receive a future travel certificate. Note: funds applied in in the form of a Funds Transfer of the non-penalized portion of a cancelled booking are subject to the standard cancellation schedule of the new booking as described.
Cancellation Notice Received before Cruise/Tour Start Date & Cancellation Charges Per Person:
120 Days or more - $200 per person
119 - 90 days - 20% of the fare**
89 - 60 days - 35% of the fare**
59 - 30 days - 50% of the fare**
Less than 30 days - 100% of the fare**
No Show - 100% of the fare
**Fare is defined as the cost of any cruise, or land, element purchased from Uniworld. Port charges are refunded if cancellation is received prior to departure.
If air is cancelled one hundred and nineteen (119) days prior to departure or less, the full price of your air is non-refundable.
This supersedes all previous cancellation policies and is subject to change.
