To find the right vacation for you, it is important to consider the pace of the journey, the length of the trip, the number of overnights in each location, and they type of activities and sites you visit. All of our vacation itineraries involve walking, often on cobblestones or uneven surfaces in many of Europe’s historic towns and city centers. You need to be able to walk 1-3 miles comfortably and unassisted in one day and be able to keep pace with the group.
To help you determine how active your guided vacation or river cruise will be, we have designated each itinerary with a trip pace to use as a guide. There are three categories: Leisurely, Comfortable and Active. It is good to note that what may be considered comfortable to some, other may feel is active so our designations are a general guide to help you decide on a trip that is best for you. Our team of Travel Specialists are on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding trip pacing.
