Eight million tons of plastic pour into our oceans every single year, this in addition to the more than five trillion pieces of plastic estimated to be littering the oceans at this moment. The larger pieces of plastic injure, impair, and kill wildlife, while the disintegration of plastic debris and the manufacturing of microbeads are wholly poisoning ecosystems. According to a report by the World Economic Forum, if nothing is done to push back against the deluge of plastics currently overwhelming the oceans there could be more plastic in the oceans than fish by 2050.

GETCares, together with The Travel Corporation (TTC) and TreadRight, has committed to eliminating all single-use plastics in both our offices and out on the road by 2022. Our motorcoaches will no longer offer single-use water bottles onboard. Pack and bring your reusable water bottle and help us make a difference.

It is estimated that TTC’s efforts will help to eliminate the use of some 570 million plastic water bottles.

Find water anywhere

Tap is an app that allows you to find nearby places to refill your reusable water bottle, so you never have to buy a plastic one again. It's really easy to use. Follow the button below to the Tap website, enter your phone number and you're instantly sent a link to download the app! You'll be taken to your app store to download it and you're set! The app finds you and then shows you the nearest places to refill your water bottle.

One of the best things about Tap is that they've developed a network around the world. If a refill location is marked on your phone, maybe a coffee shop or casual restaurant, you know you can go in there to refill your bottle.

The app also shows you the best public places to refill your water bottle. And, you can see on the app if the water is filtered, cold, sparkling, or flavored.

It's free to sign up, you'll save money not purchasing plastic bottles that are thrown away after one use, and you'll help the environment!
