Travelers with Disabilities or Special Needs @fontSize>
In some instances, collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated on tours. If you require such assistance, you’ll need a travel companion who can assist you throughout the duration of the tour. It is important to note that some sites or activities may not be accessible by wheelchair and you may need to opt out of certain activities. It may be possible to rent a wheelchair for use in select cities. Please contact a Travel Specialist for more information.
Motorized wheelchairs cannot be accepted on any of our trips. If you would like to travel with a wheelchair but do not have somebody to accompany you on your trip, we recommend contacting a company such as Flying Wheels Travel that specializes in tours for travelers with disabilities.
Walkers & Crutches @fontSize>
Mobility devices such as collapsible walkers and crutches are permitted on our trips. It is important to note that walking surfaces could be uneven in some places and cobblestone streets are common throughout Europe. If you have any questions or concerns please give us a call and a Travel Specialist will assist you. Finally, some tour directors recommend folding seat canes as a convenient option for those in need of mobility assistance as they can be used as a chair or for additional support.
