Everyone I spoke to in the planning process was very kind and professional. In this new world of travel, they were able to answer my questions and set up everything that was required in a way that did not hinder our travel experience at all.
Response from Grand European Travel:
It certainly is a new world of travel but we couldn't be happier to see that it didn't stop you from enjoying the beauty of Scotland. Thank you!

The tour was well-planned, accommodations were very nice, and the tour guide was fantastic.
The trip was very nice, and when the Edinburgh Castle was closed, the tour guide found suitable alternatives. Some of the stops seemed a little rushed, but other than that everything went very well. Kate Allen was an excellent guide.

Great.....This trip was with 20 people and details already set up. We just joined in.
Our guide had a little bit of an ego problem. When she told the person that got our trip together that "I'm in charge now" I knew not to buck her. Our leader is very meek and soft spoken and would have never bothered her authority.

Everything was arranged very well and everyone was very helpful along the way.
Our vacation was wonderful! Our only suggestion would be to only spend one night in the highland motel and then spend one night somewhere near skye, allowing time to explore the island.

They answered all of my questions, gave me timely reminders, and made the booking process easy.
It was a trip of a life time. I had dreamed of walking in the footsteps of my ancestors my entire life. Our tour guide, Andrew, was knowledgeable of the area and the history, throwing in extra facts and small side trips which added to our experiences. For the most part we didn't feel rushed which was one of my fears taking a guided tour. The pictures are of Blair Castle (my ancestral home), Glasgow Cathedral, and Stirling Castle (another ancestral home). I enjoyed every minute. A guided tour was definitely the way to go in an area you aren't familiar with. We had no stress like we would have trying to figure out where to go, how to get there, and then driving on the wrong side of the road. We will know for next time what we want to see and those places we need more time for our next trip to Scotland. We will definite take another Trafalgar Tour when we got to Italy and then Ireland.

It was very easy to book this trip to "The Best of Scotland". The agent was informative and explained all that was involved with this wonderful trip.
Fabulous experience! I saw all that I'd hoped to see during this comprehensive trip. Some of my favorites included castles (of course), the shepherd working with his sheep dogs was amazing. The Tattoo in Edinburgh was an experience I will not forget. The visit to the special dinners at both venues was great fun. The music was lovely. Our tour guide, James Smith, was delightful and patient with all of us. Thank you for providing this wonderful adventure.
