    After breakfast this morning, your journey continues to Jasper National Park. You'll stop for a smooth yet exhilarating Boat River Safari (waiver required) with an excellent chance to view grizzly bears and other wildlife along Grizzly Bear Valley in Blue River, B.C. To complete your exciting experience, enjoy lunch in the unique floating restaurant, The Forest Table where the menu focuses around game, wild salmon, berries and greens.     No trip to Canada would be complete without a road trip along the majestic Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most stunning mountain drives. Once at the Icefields Visitor Center, you’ll embark on a specially designed Ice Explorer for a remarkable excursion onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. You’ll be led by an expert driver-guide, who will help you step out onto the frosty flow, formed centuries ago. After your icy adventure, warm up at sumptuous Château Lake Louise for a serving of afternoon tea. Journey on to the resort town of Banff, where you’ll stay at the Rimrock Resort Hotel, a superior address with exceptional views from inside Banff National Park.   9. Day 9 Quest for Buffalo on the way to Glacier National Park.

    Prepare for a day of culture and history as you depart for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, one of the world’s oldest and largest buffalo jumps. Once here you’ll discover how the indigenous people used this 36-foot-high (11 metres) cliff to hunt stampeding herds of bison. You’ll also get a unique chance to join a local Blackfoot elder and hear fascinating stories about the Plains people of long ago. From craggy plains to mountainous landscapes, you’ll cross the U.S. border into Montana and end your day at Many Glacier Hotel, a charming property situated in the heart of Glacier National Park.(Breakfast)

Victoria Whale Watching Excursion

Board your vessel to enjoy a three-hour whale-watching expedition in the waters off Victoria. While it can’t be guaranteed in advance which of the abundant marine wildlife you’ll see on your journey, chances are you’ll also spot magnificent bald eagles, porpoises or seals. Spring and summer are the best times of the year to see the resident Orca whales in all their glory. Approx. duration: 3 hours

Jasper

Jasper Float Trip

Join the fun and experience an easy rafting/scenic float trip down the Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River. A National Park licensed guide will provide commentary on the human and natural history of Jasper while navigating you along the same route used by the “fur traders” over 2 centuries ago. Lifejackets and the specially designed, 25-foot-long, oar-powered rafts; offer a safe and comfortable ride through several small, easy sets of rapids and calm stretches that any first-time rafter will enjoy. Don’t worry the guides do all the rowing; you sit back and enjoy while exploring all the spectacular scenery drifting down a route that was used by fur traders many years ago. There is always a chance of seeing various wildlife including elk, deer, moose, coyotes, wolves, eagles, ospreys, mountain sheep and bears. Tours will operate rain or shine, and a poncho will be provided when required. Approx. duration: 50-90 minutes

Banff Gondola
