This morning meet your Travel Director and travelling companions to board your Costsaver coach and set off from London. See the White Cliffs of Dover as you board the ferry and cross to Calais, France. Continue by road through the Belgian and Dutch countryside to Amsterdam, one of Europe's friendliest cities.
This morning travel through the Dutch countryside before crossing into Germany. Stop to view the spectacular Gothic Cathedral in Cologne before arriving in the picturesque Rhine Valley. Here you embark on a cruise and glide past medieval castles and steeply terraced vineyards which produce the well-known, high-quality Rhine wines. Continue by road to your hotel where you dine tonight.
Journey through the vineyards of Alsace and stop in the fairy-tale town of Colmar. We arrive later in the mountains close to lovely Lake Lucerne, your home for the next two nights.
