Join your local expert, a former hippie, for a walking tour of Haight-Ashbury for a flashback to the Flower Power era. Enter California wine country, walk through vineyards and enjoy a private tasting.In the evening, you are treated to a Highlight Dinner with local wine, overlooking the Sonoma Plaza.
Visit the beautiful Mission Santa Barbara and learn about the chain of 21 missions along California's El Camino Real. Then journey along spectacular Santa Monica Bay, passing through glamorous Malibu on your way to Santa Monica.Take a local expert led tour of the famous Santa Monica Pier. Continue on to your luxurious hotel at L.A. LIVE, the city's one-of-a-kind entertainment destination.
In the morning, join a local specialist on a private tour of a historic theater in Hollywood. Then join your tour director with a sightseeing tour including Grauman's Chinese Theatre and a stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Spend time on your own at the historic L.A. Farmers Market. In the evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner with wine.
Head to Bryce Canyon National Park in Southern Utah and enjoy a leisurely walk along Sunset Point to view the great amphitheaters of odd-shaped monoliths known as hoodoos. Travel through more amazing scenery to the lush cliff-and-canyon landscape of Zion National Park. In the evening, join your Tour Director and newfound friends for a Highlight Dinner with wine.
Travel through more amazing scenery to the lush cliff-and-canyon landscape of Zion National Park. Board a private Zion Canyon Shuttle with live commentary to experience the scenic highlights of the park, followed by some time to explore on your own. A complete change of scenery awaits you in the afternoon when you arrive in Las Vegas; bright lights, shopping malls, and huge themed hotels.
Walk among the geysers and watch them erupt. Spend time with your Travel Director for an informative stroll through Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin. There will be plenty of time to see the colorful bubbling mudpots and observe Old Faithful shooting water over 120 feet in the air. See free-roaming deer, elk and bear in their natural habitat and the roar of the Lower Yellowstone Falls.
Depart Yellowstone National Park and travel through the stark Shoshone Canyon and Absaroka Rocky Mountains to reach the Wild West town of Cody. Visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, built in honour of one of America's great Western legends. Head to Clearmont in Wyoming and after checking into your hotel, indulge in a ranch style Highlight Dinner.
Travel south from Custer State Park where your tour ends on arrival in Denver, with a transfer to Denver International Airport.

At the end of your guided vacation, it’s customary to offer your motor coach driver and Travel Director a gratuity. We recommend $4-5 per person/per day for your driver and $6-7 per person/per day for your Travel Director. Recommended gratuity for a Local Host and Local Specialist is 1-2 dollars per person, paid at the conclusion of each guided visit. A convenient option is to prepay your tips before your departure.
Baggage on our trips is restricted to one large suitcase per person with dimensions not exceeding 30x19x10 inches and a maximum weight of 50 pounds. You are also permitted one piece of hand luggage, which should be small enough to fit under your coach seat or on the small overhead shelf compartment. Please note that luggage with an adjustable handle and wheels will not fit in the overhead compartment of the coach. Hotel porterage is included in your vacation.
You will need to be comfortable on your feet, walking and standing for up to three hours in various weather conditions. All of our vacations involve walking, often on cobblestone and uneven surfaces in historic city centers. In order to get the most out of your vacation you need to be able to comfortably walk 1-3 miles unassisted in one day, be in good condition and be able to keep pace with the group.
If you need any medications, it is important that you bring enough to last you the whole trip and keep them in your carry-on bag while you travel.
