  1. Day 1 Welcome to Athens.

    Welcome to Athens, one of the ancient capitals of the world. On arrival an Insight host will meet you at the airport and take you to your centrally located hotel. Once here there will be time to settle in and relax before meeting your Travel Director and fellow travellers at 19:00 for a Welcome Dinner.(Dinner with Wine)

  2. Day 2 Athens Sightseeing:

    Your Local Expert will show you the incredible sights of Athens including the Acropolis and the Parthenon. The Acropolis of Athens and its monuments are universal symbols of Athens’ classical spirit and civilization. They form the greatest architectural and artistic complex bequeathed by Greek Antiquity to the world. In the evening, head back to your hotel for a relaxed evening before you head to Santorini in the morning.(Breakfast)

  3. Day 3 Depart for Santorini.

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the port for the ferry to Santorini. Famed for the scattered white Cycladic houses that rest upon its cliffs, Santorini is a dreamy getaway. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and take time to relax. Why not take a dip in its pool or head down to the hotel’s private beach? In the evening join your fellow travellers for a cooling cocktail whilst viewing the famous spectacular caldera as the sun sets over the Aegean Sea.(Breakfast)

  4. Day 4 Santorini.

    Today you’ll delve into the geological history of Santorini. In the morning a local geology expert will divulge secrets about this volcanic island and the caldera, revealing the details of its formation. The rest of the day is yours at leisure. Why not head for a swim at Ammoudi Bay, to the Santorini Wine Museum or ask your Travel Director for some restaurant recommendations?(Breakfast)

  5. Day 5 Santorini.

    With a day at leisure, why not take the opportunity to visit the site of Akrotiri; an ancient city covered by the volcano ash and uncovered in 1967. From Akrotiri you will continue to a local winery where you will enjoy an afternoon tasting the best regional flavours. If shopping is more your thing, spend your time walking the white walled alleyways browsing the many shops and taking in the breath-taking views of the caldera.(Breakfast)

  6. Day 6 Mykonos Sightseeing.

    After your breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the port for the ferry sailing to Mykonos. Upon arrival you'll be transferred to your hotel. Explore the town of Mykonos with a Local Expert and discover the maze of pretty alleyways of stunning Cycladic houses that make up the island. Later, make a welcoming stop to taste a selection of local delicacies and learn the secrets of Mykonian Cuisine.(Breakfast)

  7. Day 7 Mykonos at Leisure.

    Today you’ll have free time to explore as you wish with many exciting adventures to choose from. Why not take a transfer to the picturesque Mykonos town and explore the beautiful port area including the famous windmills, the Matoyinnia Alleys and of course little Venice? Or perhaps visit Delos, a small island off the coast. The island is an archaeological site that houses iconic ruins, including Doric temples, markets, an amphitheatre and mosaics. The mythological birthplace of Apollo, it is one of the most unique sights worldwide, with ongoing excavations and a beautiful small museum.(Breakfast)

  8. Day 8 Mykonos.

    Meet a Greek captain on a wonderful cruise to the stunning, world-famous south coast beaches of Mykonos, where you can sit back and relax as you enjoy the weather and coastal views.(Breakfast)

  9. Day 9 Depart Mykonos.

    After breakfast at your hotel you will be transferred to the port of Mykonos to board the ship to Piraeus in Athens. Once here you will be met at the port and transferred to your Athens hotel. There is time in the afternoon for you to do some last-minute sightseeing, souvenir shopping or just relax at your hotel. Enjoy your last night with your fellow travellers at a Celebration dinner to toast your experiences.(Breakfast / Dinner with Wine)

Senses Of Santorini And Oia Sunset

"We head to the Baxedes region of Santorini to visit our acclaimed local winery. We will enjoy a variety of local “meze” (Greek hors d’oeurves) which will enchant your taste buds; sample the stunning locally produced wines, walk in the vineyards, see the “kalathies” vines and the unique way that locals have been growing grapes for centuries. We take a short drive to the spectacular village of Oia. Walk through the marble streets and have time at leisure in the village for magnificent photos. We will stroll to our chosen spot to marvel the sunset and perhaps enjoy local delicacies at one of the local restaurants. We are sure Oia will delight your senses! Sunset On Board

This afternoon we board our large wooden “ caique” and set off to the Volcano. Take the opportunity to climb up to the top of the volcano and experience a real active volcano, or perhaps stay on board, relax and enjoy the amazing view. Afterwards we can swim in the hot springs and enjoy the natural spa like feeling of the thermal waters. We enjoy a casual dinner with wine on board accompanied by music, and marvel at the sunset and the breathtaking village of Oia high above on the Cliffside. Santorini Island Tour With Visit To Akrotiri

We drive to the highest point of the island - Profitis Ilias for stunning views of the island, and make our way to the village of Pyrgos, to see the iconic blue domed churches and classic Cycladic architecture. Afterwards we visit the prehistoric Akrotiri – a Bronze Age settlement destroyed by a huge eruption during the 17th century BC and buried under the volcanic ash, preserving the whole city in perfect condition. It is often referred often as “Prehistoric Pompei”. Afterwards we head for the black sand beach of Perivolos, passing picturesque villages. Enjoy a time at leisure on the beach where we can swim, have lunch or do both. Entrance to Akrotiri included.

Mykonos

Ancient Delos

We take a boat ride to Delos, once a Sacred Island, the legendary birthplace of God Apollo and his twin sister Artemis. Today Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites of the eastern Mediterranean. We see amongst others, the remains of the Temple of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city and the theatre and then walk down the celebrated Lion Street. In the museum of Delos one can admire Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Sculptures, a collection of vessels from all periods as well as small items of everyday use. Transfers to/from port and entrance included.

Mykonos Island Tour

"A walking tour through Mykonos town takes us through the labyrinth of windy streets, boasting beautifully white washed cubed architecture with iconic blue shutters and blue domed churches. See the old port with little fishing boats and stunning yachts while walking towards “little Venice” to see the picturesque famous windmills. We might just see Petros the Pelican- Mykonos’ mascot the the secrets of the cosmopolitan yet traditional town are revealed.
