Everything went right with booking. I would recommend GET to anyone wanting a great experience. I will travel with GET again.
All the experiences were as advertised and our travel director threw in a few extras. One surprise was stopping at a walking bridge and allowing us to walk across the Mississippi to step into Arkansas. Fun
Response from Grand European Travel:
That is fantastic to hear! Thank you for sharing.

Since the actual company leading the tour was Trafalgar, I cannot comment so much on Grand European Travel. Other travelers in our group had discounts that we were not aware of. (?) The pre-information provided by GET was good & received in a timely manner.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Thank you for your comments. There are several avenues in which to book your reservation and each agency offers different discounts to their customers. By booking with GET, you received a discount for being a member of AARP which the other guests on your trip did not receive. We're happy to see that you enjoyed yourself and we hope to have the opportunity to assist you in the future. Grand European Travel

95% of the vacation was excellent, but there are always a few things that are not. i.e. the meal on the Natchez riverboat cruise was not good (the cruise & the band were good). The Trafalgar tour guide was very fun & knowledgeable. A fun surprise bonus was the providing of local treats when we returned to the bus (Nashville Goo Goo Clusters, Memphis Moon Pies, etc.).

We had a change of dates after we had made our airline reservations. It was expensive to change the dates. Anyone who has booked a US tour needs to check with GET before locking in the dates of travel. Alaska Air was reasonable; United airlines through Expedia was punishing.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We sorry for the hassle about the date change, but glad you were able to straighten out your flights for the new date. I also see we were able to reimburse your change fees to do so. We are glad to see that you enjoyed the trip itself and met some new people from around the world. Thank you! Grand European Travel
