I was expecting to be taken to the iffel tower not view it from miles away. Never stopped at the Arc de Triumph, or champs Elise. No lunches and not enough dinners. Too much street walking not enough points of interest sights, in order for me to see points of interest had to take all the optional tours. Basically the group was on our own.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. Our brochure and website lists what is included for each tour as well as what sights are visited or viewed from a distance. We do apologize if there was confusion about what was not included or if it was not made clear at the time you booked your trips.

GET is a great booking company and we have booked tours 5 times with them.
Vacation
This trip is not GET fault. This trip was the first time it was done. The tour guide was a very nice person but, his English was very poor. He would switch from English to Italian to French all in one sentence. His English was so bad, I stopped listening to him after a while. Way too much time on the bus and way to short rest stops to get something to eat and use the restroom along the way. Hotel rooms were not in tourist areas (except for one) but in industrial areas. Not good for shopping or seeing the sights. The programed and optional food was not great except for the farewell dinner. If I were the tour company, I would not do this tour again. Almost everyone on the tour felt the same way.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Thank you for your honest feedback. We will be sure to share your comments with Trafalgar's Quality Control team and ask foe immediate review.

My booking experience through Grand European was excellent! Barb did a fantastic job, is extremely efficient, and kept me informed at all times about any changes, etc.
Vacation
This tour was highly unorganized and a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! The tour director chosen was a nice person but impossible to understand, thus creating daily frustration in attempts to comprehend the necessary details and itinerary. The location of three hotels (Paris and Lyon) was not conducive to tourism, so there was little nearby to do or see. Once we'd reached our destination by bus, there was barely time to eat and use the restroom, which meant no exploring of the sights mentioned in the description of the tour. The optional tour of Montmarte would've been wonderful if it hadn't been scheduled on a Saturday afternoon when it was overcrowded with people, during lunch, with no time to see the church. Compared to Insight, Trafalgar is like a B grade movie!
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are very sorry to hear about your disappointment. We have forwarded your comments to Trafalgar and asked for immediate review of this product and the Travel Director. Thank you for brining this to our attention

Our tour took us to many special places. We loved seeing the Eiffel Tower and visiting the Orangerie Museum. Being able to see Monet’s house and gardens at Giverny was a high point during our trip. It was a privilege being able to experience the French culture and to learn about the history of this beautiful country.
Response from Grand European Travel:
That is fantastic to hear! Thank you for your repeat business and we look forward to helping you plan your next trip!
