The airplane reservations etc were very well done. I especially appreciate that the person making the reservations realized that I was going to arrive in St. Petersburg a little too late for the Trafalgar shuttles and had arranged a special driver waiting at the airport for me!

Too many optional excursions "pushed" on us. No help with luggage. Our tour director was very friendly but not well organized. The local guides were good and knowledgeable.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are sorry that you felt there were too many optional experiences on this trip. They are designed to allow a balance of free time and added value to the trip, but we will share your feedback with our Operations Team. Thank you for taking the time to write.

The service was good but the group was too big Although we got along well. The optional excursions made the day very long and very very strenuous. However, in order to see and experience Russia you had to take them because in my opinion the prepaid tour was not plan well. Everything that I wanted to see I had to pay extra and that made no time for personal time or relaxation . Why not make the tour 10 days instead of 8?
Response from Grand European Travel:
We feel badly that you were disappointed in this trip. There were several highlights included in the price and the Optional Experiences are designed to allow enhanced sightseeing or free time for those who prefer to be on their own. However, we will share your suggestions with our Operations Team and ask them to review this trip.

Service
Your service is good but your stated itinery is not what actually is of interest to customers. This is particulary reflected in the "Petersburg" segment. Most of the Option tours are a must for the tours why don't you include that in the tour and come out with a higher quoted price?
Response from Grand European Travel:
We understand your concern, but the optional experiences cannot always be guaranteed to operate or be available so we cannot include them in the regular itinerary.  Thank you for your suggestions.
