  1. Day 1 Welcome to Bozeman

    Arrive in Bozeman, enjoy views of the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Your time is yours to get to know this charming town. May we suggest, taking a stroll along the friendly Main Street or visiting the Museum of the Rockies? In the evening, join your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a delicious Welcome Dinner.

  2. Day 2 Big Sky, Big Nature Relaxed Start

    Enjoy a relaxed start in Bozeman before you transfer to Big Sky. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive, cruise up through high alpine meadows, drop into the rocky Gallatin Canyon and travel alongside the river, under the gaze of the iconic lone peak of Big Sky Mountain. With its wide skies and breath-taking views, Big Sky is a nature lover's paradise and the gateway community to Yellowstone National Park. This afternoon at Big Sky, enjoy an Insight Choice with a guided hike or choose to test your archery skills with the Lone Peak as your backdrop. Whichever you choose, both options include a scenic lift ride up the mountain.

  3. Day 3 Hello Yellowstone!

    Depart Big Sky in the morning and enter the vast wonderland of Yellowstone National Park. The world’s first National Park, Yellowstone spans over 2.2 million acres and is full of natural wonders, geothermal phenomena and diverse, free-roaming wildlife. Spend the morning sightseeing and wildlife spotting in West Yellowstone with your Travel Director, look out for wolves, bear, elk and moose. Stop for a delicious picnic lunch of local delicacies and wine and listen to stories of life in and out of the park. In the late afternoon join your Yellowstone Forever Local Expert for an after-hours walk, a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience. Yellowstone Forever is the official non-profit partner of Yellowstone National Park, with a mission to protect, preserve and enhance Yellowstone National Park through education and philanthropy. Your Local Expert is well-versed on the park's history, culture, wildlife, geology and more! Prepare for informative conversations about the geologic and historic origins of the park, wildlife and management and their current projects supporting the park. By supporting Yellowstone Forever, this experience contributes to their efforts in wildlife conservation.

  4. Day 4 Hot Springs and Hiking in Yellowstone Relaxed Start

    Enjoy a relaxed start before continuing your hand-picked sightseeing in Yellowstone National Park. Join your Travel Director to explore the Mammoth Hot Springs terraces, one of the major geyser basins in Yellowstone. Partake in one of two gentle hikes. The 2.2-mile Mammoth Terraces Trail passes many of the most beautiful and historic hot spring terraces of the park and snakes up to a sweeping outlook. The 6-mile Beaver Ponds Trail rambles through sagebrush meadows, trees and beaver ponds inviting you to keep a look out for wildlife, including a variety of water birds and perhaps a distant bear, elk, mule deer, pronghorn or moose.

  5. Day 5 Yellowstone's Grand Canyon

    The morning, head to the Fishing Bridge Visitor Center and Trailside Museum to learn all about the many bird species that inhabit the park. Take in grand views and seize an ideal photo opportunity at Artists Point at an elevation of 7,976 feet. Explore further on the 3.9-mile Clear Lake Artist Point Loop Trail where you’ll relish views of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, dramatic falls, tranquil ponds and lakes, rolling meadows, thermal features and wildlife.

  6. Day 6 Yellowstone's Famous Old Faithful

    Set off this morning for your final day of sightseeing around the park. Begin with a 1.5-mile hike at Grand Prismatic Overlook treating you to a view overlooking Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone's largest hot spring at 200-300 feet in diameter and more than 121 feet deep. After lunch, take your time exploring the many impressive thermal features around Old Faithful, one of Yellowstone’s most famous Geysers. The spectacular Upper Geyser Basin and Midway Geyser Basin are also home to Castle Geyser, Crested Pool, Sapphire Pool, Grand Prismatic Spring and the Excelsior Geyser Crater. From rising steam to colorful pools and ponds, take your pick of a variety of hikes ranging from less than a mile to 3.5 miles. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a delicious Celebration Dinner.

  7. Day 7 Mountain Peaks and the Wild West - Departures

    Today head to Grand Teton National Park and marvel at the stunning mountain peaks as you immerse yourself in this wildlife haven with your Travel Director. Savor a taste of the old Wild West as you visit the authentic town of Jackson, with free time to explore and have a delicious lunch around the town square. Enjoy an insightful visit to the National Museum of Wildlife Art and join a docent for a walk on the Sculpture Trail. Gain insights into the sculptures and surrounding landscape before continuing your exploration of the museum housing over 5,000 artworks. In the late afternoon, bid farewell to the beautiful national parks and your fellow travelers, then transfer to Jackson Hole Airport arriving at 4:00 PM. Please note this time when booking flights, or perhaps extend your stay in Jackson with optional extra nights.
