A French Classic
The Calvados 75

Recipe Expert Calvados 75 Champagne Glasses Coupe Flipped

You may know the French 75 as a meeting of Champagne and gin...the Calvados 75 is another classic.

This cocktail is the perfect year-round drink. Calvados is a traditional apple brandy named for the area of Calvados, in Normandy, France. Known as eau de vie de cidre,  "water of life," the brandy is distilled from dry French cider and aged in oak casks. While the brandy is perfection on its own, adding a little champagne to almost anything is always a good call. Impress with this purely French original in any season.
