At first we were skeptical about a bus tour, but as it turns out, the bus driver was great. The tour guide was super, and the people on the bus very nice and lots of fun. We did a lot every day and saw a lot. If that’s the kind of vacation you would like. I highly recommend this

Hotel transfers were on time and perfect. Our tour director, Tim Smith, was excellent! I have MANY concerns regarding this trip: There were many last minute changes to the planned itinerary and it made us feel like things were disorganized. We had planned our own side trip around that planned original itnerary and had to cancel it due to the Trafalgar changes. No explanation was given. The hotel was a nightmare and certainly BELOW a standard I had expected from Trafalgar. Having been on several Trafalgar trips recently this is a definite departure in quality. The carpet in the room was dirty. It was about 85 degrees in that room. There was no refrigerator. The safe didn't work. One day the cold water didn't work and the toilet didn't flush. Once the plumber had been there we were locked out of our room and had to go back down 9 floors to have new lock-keys made. On our last day there was water dripping from the light fixture above the shower head in the tub area. When the plumber came he said it was coming from the toilet in the room above. Now I must tell you that the hotel staff in the front lobby was ALWAYS helpfull . It's not their fault that this hotel needs major repairs. We were always listened to and repairs were made. They gave us a fan for the excessive heat and the safe was fixed. The plumbing in that bldg is a BIG problem. We were told it was a huge problem and many, many plumbers had to come in from various places to see that the problems were addressed. I have written to The Tower and asked for one day's refund due to these excessive problems. They wrote back once but I've not heard about a refund. It's clear in my mind that I will certainly attempt to choose another tour company. I think Trafalgar is losing it's status . I love the service that GET offers and have called them for at least 5 or 6 trips. I'm hoping to go on another trip but I have to tell you I'm NOT pleased with Trafalgar. I have lived and traveled in Europe many times and have NEVER written a complaint before. Please pay attention to this. Thank you .......most sincerely, Carol Dey and Monica Fahrner

I wasn't happy with the customer service, I finalized the trip and paid in full, then received a phone call later in the day saying a mistake was made and I owed more money. When questioned the representative said I received a discount that had expired, the whole exchange left a bad taste in my mouth. I have always dealt with Trafalgar direct without issue so I learned a valuable lesson.

Both London and Paris were beautiful cities. I still can't believe all the sites we saw and everything we did on this trip. Gino our travel guide was excellent! I recommend this trip very highly!

Booking was easy. I was surprised at the level of information needed and the time when the payments had to be made, but learned that it made the trip easier in the long run. Communication was very good.

Pamela, our tour guide was great. The tour was fabulous. There were opportunities to be with the group and opportunities to go off and explore each of the cities on our own. The other people on the tour were fun and made the trip even better because of their diversity and sense of humor and adventure. The weather in Italy in October was perfect - though GETours had nothing do say about it but I highly recommend going in October. Our driver, Michele, was safe, efficient and helpful. He avoided a couple of accidents that other Italian drivers and walkers might have caused. The optional experiences were not too expensive and the couple that we did were definitely worth the price and adventure. Getting in to the Vatican without having to wait in line was priceless. Pamela told us stories, helped up pass the time on the bus between cities, and made it personal for us. She went above and beyond when it came to helping members of the group go to an area where their family was from. She got to know each of us. She managed people of different walking and medical abilities, different food allergies, and very different personalities.

Our flight back through Munich made our trip much longer...we would have preferred a direct flight from Paris to Washington.
