I would not hesitate to book with GET again. From the first phone call to the communications, my vacation was nearly flawless. Emails were very clearly understood, the cost was acceptable and I liked the choice of being able to book our own flights.

Vacation

1) Trafalgar had every part of the trip organized. At no time did I feel concerned about what to do. 2) The (11) days flew by. Rome, Amalfi Coast, Florence & Venice. 3) Rome is rich in history, but very busy. The Vatican & Sistine Chapel were wonderful to see, but not enough time to embrace the true meaning. 4) The Amalfi Coast is a must to see. The beauty alone is worth it. Stayed in Maiori and visited Positano, Capri…perfect 5) Florence. Another beautiful city with older buildings a gorgeous cathedral and quaint surroundings. Tuscany, the landscape is beautiful! 6) Venice, Burano, Murano.. water everywhere! The way the city is set on the canals, was amazing to see. 7) Lastly, the food was incredible. Having a true Italian meal is a must for any traveler.. don’t forget the Limoncello, Wine and Gelato!

Everything about the ship was enjoyable. The meals were excellent and well served. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Each tour that was offered had wonderful guides. We enjoyed each day!

My sister actually did the booking but she had no issues at all. She did most online but when she did need to call them they were very efficient and polite.

Vacation

We had the best tour guide! Sally was so knowledgeable about the history of Ireland! Even when we were just driving by certain sites she would explain some of the history to us so we knew the significance of what we were seeing rather than just pointing to it. Our driver was terrific. The way he could maneuver around all the tiny streets, and he kept aware of any upcoming traffic so that he could avoid it so we didn't lose any time was nothing short of amazing! The tours that were included were wonderful. We managed to hit all the highlights that most people wish to see when traveling to Ireland. The "be my guest" dinner with Catherine Fulvio was wonderful. The food was amazing and she has such energy so she kept us pretty entertained when she wasn't in the kitchen working hard! The optional tours were awesome as well. The only thing I would have liked is to have enough more time in Dublin to actually get off the bus at some locations, such as St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church, and Guinness so we had a better photo opportunity. Also, I feel that the time at Waterford was longer than necessary and would have wanted less time there and more at the Dunbrody Famine Ship as there was no time to really read the histories that are displayed after the tour of the ship. Overall, the trip was a great success and I enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful, well planned trip! Frederic was an excellent guide and friend. Got to see so much because of his excellent planning. Very busy days with few rest stops, but well worth the money and time.

Trafalgar and Tour Director Johnnie Collins truly delivered. The tour was a Highlights so the pace was well timed to expose our group to some memorable sights and dining experiences. The weather obliged us some beautiful clear sunny days which made for excellent photos. We had a lovely group and upon reflection enjoy our tour more each day.

Dealing with GET was great, no problems booking our trip. The Trafalgar Best of Italy tour was fantastic. Our tour director was amazing. We did all the optional tours and loved them all. This tour is not for someone who has problems walking 3 to five miles a day.
