A real Greek fish-seafood dinner in one of the most popular fish-tavernas in the area, frequented by the local people. Other than the uncontrollable hot weather, everything was perfect. We saw the major sights of Greece with no delays and expert travel guides who were with us the entire trip. I first met Simone when I arrives at the hotel without luggage that was lost. He immediately was supportive and helpful. He even took me to a pharmacy to acquire medications that hadn't arrived with my luggage. Throughout the trip he was amazing in making sure we were all comfortable. Everything from the locations, to hotel sites, food arrangements, etc. were handled perfectly. He coordinated activates brilliantly with our tour guide Evi. She was wonderful, with an incredible knowledge of the locations we visited. Her expertise was evident; she was able to give insightful and detailed explanations about everything we saw. All of our tour guides with GET have been outstanding and Evi was no exception. Furthermore Evi and Simone had wonderful interpersonal skills and made it easy for the group to enjoy each others company - easy to approach, engage in conversation, enjoyed being with us, etc. I also need to mention our bus driver who got us to every location on time with no disruptions or problems. He navigated tight spots and high elevations beautifully. He was responsible for the success of the tour. This was our 4th tour with GET and we look forward to many more in the future. We've traveled all over the world for the past 50 years, no other tour company compares with GET. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable tour.

GET does a great job. I use the web site, pick a place to go, click a few buttons, and voila I'm done. If there are questions (on flights, etc.) a quick email to a GET rep gets the answers. I have booked four trips through GET and will continue to use them in the future.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are so glad you enjoyed your trip to Greece. And it's so nice to hear your feedback about the booking process. We truly appreciate your repeat business and would love to help you plan your next trip when you are ready to travel again. Thanks so much for leaving a review!

The staff that took care of us in Greece was phenomenal. From the time we landed until the time we left for home, Trafalgar staff went above and beyond. Their knowledge of local customs and history provided us with an experience we won't soon forget. Unfortunately, Ioanna who started the tour with us, had to leave us because of a family emergency and Trafalgar worked quickly to get her back to Athens and provide us with a replacement guide in a matter of hours. Although our schedule had to change a little, we lost nothing as far as the tour was concerned. They made sure that we were all cared for and they addressed any issues (which were few) promptly and professionally. Absolutely would travel with Trafalgar again!
Response from Grand European Travel:
It certainly sounds like you had an epic experience in Greece! That makes us so happy! We are glad you were able to see everything even with a few "bumps in the road." We would love to help you plan your next adventure when you are ready to travel again! Take care.

The tour director and local specialist were excellent. Way too much down time/drive time. Itinerary should be rearranged so that you aren't driving 4 hours a day in the afternoon. There has to be something to see. The arrival times and dinner times made it too late to go into town to explore.

The trip was excellent. It was delayed by two years and the many rebookings were handled very well by any Grand European agent we talked to.

This is an extremely active trip as planned by Trafalgar. However, it was inspirational and weel-organized.

After some hesitancy because of COVID, we were assured by your staff that all efforts in our health safety would be attained. This was realized by the way our travel guide and driver handled our tours each day. We were always the first ones there and in this way avoided crowds. This was much appreciated. Also our guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and she made the tours pleasurable.
Vacation
Every tour was so interesting and of course our guide was full of so much information and helpful to us in any way we needed her. We also enjoyed our fabulous Be Our Guest night at the olive farm. The family was warm and welcoming. We had a great time there. The only flawed experience was the last night at the Farewell Dinner. We would have rathered stayed at the hotel for dinner instead of traveling again and having a long walk to a restaurant that was up many steps and in a very crowded area.

We were previously supposed to go in May 2020 but bc of covid things got a little complicated. Spoke to several agents, most of which were very helpful, but none pointed out our destination was in a high level covid area.
Vacation
Enjoyed Greece, but didn't realize how much walking/climbing there would be. Would be good for the tour director to be honest about the amount to be done and state that there aren't any handrails for those who may need them.
