Fantastic customer service, our travel specialist recommended to start our adventure a day early to get up time to adjust for jetlag. Boy, that was a wonderful idea.

The tour itself was 5 star. However, being partially disabled, having asked the agent before and during my booking, they were not forthcoming with the actual rigors of the tour. I even asked about scooter rental, which they dismissed as not being available or necessary. Consequently, I missed seeing several sights as I can only walk for short distances The bus stairs were also a detriment. The tour guide and bus driver were also 5 star. If you have health/disability issues, beware.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are very sorry to hear about the difficulties you faced while on your trip. All trips we offer do require a great deal of walking with stairs involved. We do try to make the physical requirements clear in our brochure and website and apologize if this was not made clear to you when you booked.

Great tour, dishonesty in salespersons made it a very painful time.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our trip. I had travelled with Grand European twice before with other family, and as usual, was very happy. I also adored Allie, our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and really went our of her way to make everyone on the tour happy. I will absolutely travel with you again.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Thank you so much for being a valued repeat customer and for trusting us to help plan your vacations. We are so happy that you enjoyed Ireland and we look forward to hearing about more happy memories.

Early January is the perfect time to go to Ireland. It makes it feel more like you're a local and less like you're just on vacation. I take most of my trips in winter for this reason alone. What a beautiful country.

Grand European was great. The tour guide and bus driver were so helpful and kind.
The Irish highlights during the winter season was perfect because it was less crowded and the weather was cool. There was only one hotel that was very sub par but every other hotel was great. The food was amazing too.

Our Tour Director was a very poor planner. Starting with day 1 when we arrived in Dublin there was a Marathon and she did not have any alternative plans for our tour of the city in which most of the streets were blocked. Instead we drove out of the city and had a real estate tour of the outskirts. Spent lots of time at the cliffs and took us to a town for lunch where most of the restaurants were closed or had few tables, gave us an hour to grab lunch and then had to take a ferry. Also her directions were poorly stated and her timing was off.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We are sorry to hear about the lack of planning on behalf of your Travel Director. We will certainly share this information with our main office in London. We hope that there were some good memories made along the way.
