Could have informed us our long reserved seat assignments had been cancelled. We just happened to discover that on our own. GET employees could certainly have been more helpful and less rude.
Vacation
Stephen de Martin and Pino made the trip highly enjoyable. They were witty, charming, kind, concerned and knowledgeable. These two lovely men helped all the Travelers to find common ground, leading to our enjoying each others' company. We all loved them so much, we sang them a song our final evening together. Local experts Nicky and Conrad were delightful as well. The bus was quite good and the trips interesting.

We had no problems booking our tour and our air travel. The London Explorer tour with options keep us on the go, but was worth it. Very nice hotel with great full breakfast included. Ellie Teasdale, our tour guide was exceptiional.

Service
All was done professionally and well.
Vacation
Excellent well-located hotel with good optionals (although somewhat misleading as the Cotswolds, for example, were not really toured. Nor was Greenwich. Our young guide was quite inadequate in almost every respect but charm. He gave little advance info, little onsite info, especially Greenwich, led poorly, and, in general, was the worst guide we’ve ever had. Waaay too laid back.

The original flight was changed on April 2, 2019 to arrive later in London with my approval, however, upon our arrival the agent for Trafalgar was not there. We did hook up with her later and she was unaware that the flight was changed. She did obtain a taxi for us to the hotel. Other than that the trip was great.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We apologize for the misunderstanding and frustration caused by your flight delay. We do communicate all flights changes to our London office, but apologize that this one did not seem to get to the right people. We are happy that you enjoyed London despite the rocky start to the trip.
