Toronto rolls out the red carpet for your orientation tour past its sprawling Queens Park, stately University Avenue and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. Where better to view the cityscape than the top of the iconic CN Tower, which you'll have an opportunity to ascend and see the vast expanse of Lake Ontario and Yonge Street, which has connected the city with its northern neighbours since before 1900. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city at your pace.
Journey to Niagara Falls for an exhilarating boat ride to the base of Horseshoe Falls. Savour the delicate flavours of local ice wine as you Connect with Locals at a family owned winery and Be My Guest dinner.
We journey to Kingston, the gateway of a Thousand Islands, where we'll enjoy an orientation tour and admire its beautiful historic buildings. Arriving in the capital Ottawa, we embark on an introductory tour, viewing the elegant Gothic buildings of Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, the residence of the Governor General of Canada, and the beautiful downtown parks. We enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant.
Get back to nature and spend the morning exploring Parc Omega, which provides sanctuary to such endemic species as beaver, elk, timber wolf, deer and caribou. We continue to Quebec City and begin our love affair with its French Canadian joie de vivre and romantic 17th century façades.
Embark on a captivating walk through the narrow streets of Old Quebec City, joining your Local Specialist for an in-depth discovery of this UNESCO-listed place exuding all the charm on a European city. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring La Vieille Capitale on your terms.
The sticky, rich flavours of Canada's traditional maple syrup will linger long after your morning stop at the local cabane a sucre (sugar shack) where you'll enjoy in a traditional local lunch. Continue indulging in the good life as you arrive in Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside of France, and admire the panoramic city views from the city's namesake, Mount Royal.
Explore the Island of Montreal with ease, joining your Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour that will reveal the splendour of such historic sites as the ornate Notre Dame Basilica, the colourful Old Port area and Downtown Montreal. Gain a deeper appreciation for the city's French Canadian roots as you spend the afternoon exploring the city on your terms before joining your fellow travellers for a Farewell Dinner.
