For our first trip to Scotland this was definitely the best. We were fortunate to have good weather most of the time. Of course we couldn't stay everywhere as long as we would like. But we have great ideas now for our next trip. I cannot say enough good things about our guide, Deanne Monaghan. She was wonderful! And our coach driver, Kevin, had amazing skills maneuvering that huge vehicle through some tight spots. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has not already been to Scotland.

Service
The agent couldn't give us assigned seating so we booked our own airfare. Other than that, polite.
Response from Grand European Travel:
It appears you were booked on American who does offer seating but only in the back of the plane. this is an airline restriction that GET has no control over. We are happy you were able to book the seats you preferred directly.

We actually travelled with a company called Trafalgar and it was fantastic. We arrived at the hotel and made it in time for the "get to know one another" dinner at a museum. It was fantastic! I was unaware that you were going to hook us up with another company but it worked out fine. The driver and guide were exceptional!

We liked the tour director Malcolm. The driver Nigel was amazing--narrow roads navigated so well. We plan to go back to Scotland some other time.

The Highland hotel, Carrbridge, was not up to the standards that we expected from Trafalgar.

The trip was very good. However the we didn’t get to experience Glasgow at all, arriving late and only went out to a dinner in town and the next day we were out all day. Would of liked to seen Glasgow.

Service
Tour guide and driver were excellent! However, there was one memorably bad experience with a late (so late we gave up and went to bed) meal. Also the coach seemed cramped to me. We have been on coach tours in the past and not felt so cramped. When one is spending a great deal of time in the coach, it really needs to be comfortable—otherwise the trip is ruined. We won’t be doing anymore coach tours with Trafalger.
Vacation
Fairly expensive—good tour if not for how cramped it felt in the coach and the one really bad meal experience
