Hotels that were good, a great tour guide, and a tour that had many optional experiences to choose from. Many interesting cities and enough free time as well.
See the above review. The areas we visited were wonderful, and I especially wanted to see Sweden.

After dealing with two agents who left GET we had a very positive experience with Tess who was able to answer any and all questions that we had.
This was our first Cost Saver experience and our 6th GET/Trafalgar tour. it was a Cost Saver so we expected hotel locations to be away from city centers and they were. The hotels were fine and the meals when provided were great. Some of the extras that a GET or Trafalgar tour provided were not there. If the optional excursions were not booked a person could be left to fend for themselves in a city center with no way to get back to the hotel or would have no place to go to until our bus picked them up some hours later and then to move on to a different city. Our trip was to Scandinavia so we spent lots of time on the bus enjoying the beautiful scenery. The places we stopped at were all very interesting and or beautiful. Our group leader was David who did a fabulous job of keeping us informed and on time. David 's good humor and patience made the trip very worthwhile and a wonderful experience.

Several people I talked to at GET over the past few months were not very friendly. I am not sure if I will use GET on my next trip
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are deeply saddened by your experience and hope to use this as an opportunity to improve the booking experience for all our guests. We hope you will give us a chance to redeem ourselves, and are happy that you enjoyed the tour.

The trip was awesome! Everything went as planned and we saw amazing scenery. The Tour Director Bec, was the best, she went out of her way to make the trip more enjoyable. Definitely the best Tour Director I've had, she was so friendly, personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. Our driver was awesome too. Wonderful vacation!

The travel director Mike was excellent. He was so kind and asked each everyone if there is any concern or question every times when he has any spare time. He made this trip so fun. Thanks for his efforts!
Most of hotel we stayed were good, but some of them were not that great. The dinning area was so small, but too many people showed up at once..... very unpleasant experience....

Our tour guide was excellent. He provided us with so much information.
We were not advised that a heat wave was taking place. GET had all our information and could have contacted us so we could take the proper clothing, also considering hotels in these countries do not have air conditioning. The optional tours were the best, but not included in the regular schedule. We had to pay for them separately.
