GET has an excellent customer service staff that ensured we were covered when we had to postpone our trip to London/Paris 3 years in a row. We had absolutely no issues with rebooking and the trip was amazing! All went very smoothly.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Oh my goodness! Postponing a dream trip for 3 years is so difficult! But we're so excited we were able to FINALLY help you make it to London and Paris. And it sounds like the trip was worth the wait. Thank you so much for your patience and for hanging in there with us during such a rough stretch. We appreciate your business and are delighted you enjoyed your vacation.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in London & Paris! We got to see everything on our list and more! There’s nothing like traveling stress free and having someone take care of the details for you. No long lines or transportation to worry about. Everything is easy. The weather was extremely hot and humid the last two days in Paris but that’s nobody’s fault. We still had an amazing vacation! Thanks to GET and Arnaud, our awesome travel director!

I was expecting to be taken to the iffel tower not view it from miles away. Never stopped at the Arc de Triumph, or champs Elise. No lunches and not enough dinners. Too much street walking not enough points of interest sights, in order for me to see points of interest had to take all the optional tours. Basically the group was on our own.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. Our brochure and website lists what is included for each tour as well as what sights are visited or viewed from a distance. We do apologize if there was confusion about what was not included or if it was not made clear at the time you booked your trips.

Responsive to questions, worked well with our group of eight friends. I most definitely would recommend and travel through GET again.
The tour ran very smoothly, leader responsive and attentive. I would not want to be a bus driver in either London or Paris; our drivers were very careful and I felt safe with their driving. Very pleased with optional excursions. Hotels were OK. Good locations, attentive staff, clean, good breakfasts. Some of our group were elderly and I have a concern about ability to get in and out of the bathtubs safely due to the height of the bathtub's wall. I have travelled with GET before and expressed my concern about ease and safety of getting in and out of bathtub on my previous trip. I do not know if walk in showers are available. (Used to work in a nursing home setting so am keyed into some safety issues more so than an average traveler.

Booking all good - flights, airport transfers (both London & Paris), hotels good as expected, attentive tour director Christina Manning.
Although it wasn't GET/Trafalgar's fault, I was vastly disappointed with the faulty weather during the Channel crossing by ferry which was my high point of this trip. Anything else went satisfactory.

If you really want to see as much of Europe as you can and don’t have a month or two to spend there, then GET is the only way to go. Your tour guide really is the person that makes your experience and we had the best along with local tour guilds and Daisy who organized and made our adventures outstanding.. GET is a great value for the money and they take good care of you from start to finish. We are not worldly travels and they answered all our question with such kindness and respect. We always felt we could call them with any concern no matter how small. We’ll be using GET for more travel.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Thank you so much for your lovely words and your trust in GET. We are thrilled to see that you enjoyed your trip and that you'll be back for another one soon.

Everything from start to finish was handled so professionally and skillfully. There isn’t one thing I would change about our vacation. We had a great time and worth every penny.

Kaitlyn was very helpful and responsive.
Sight seeing locations were good. Several places cancelled due to things beyond their control but disappointing (i.e., wonder if we could have gone to Buckingham Palace another time since they knew the U.S. President would be there on our scheduled day; They did reschedule our cruise since it was raining; Understand that we couldn't go into Notre Dame because of fire).

No, would not recommend. Our transport from Heathrow to our hotel was never booked. Waited at airport for over 3 hrs. Eventually tookTaxi to hotel which cost 104 pounds. Trafalga gave us that amount in credit for excursions.
No airport pick-up/transport. Tour eliminated some of all that was described in booklet. Individual tour guides did not meet time requirements. Did Trafalga advise them of time restraints for parking? But they were quick to advise us they were leaving Louvre without us. Bus left before all were accounted for. Their responsibility was to us for any miscommunication between Trafalga & individual guide they used. Poor responsibility for safety of their clients and questionable liability would fall on their company.
Response from Grand European Travel:
We do show your arrival pick up was confirmed in your booking and ordered correctly. There are specific instructions that must be followed when meeting the pick up and were included with your arrival instructions. We do apologize if these instructions were not made clear to you, but are happy to see that you were reimbursed for your taxi expense. We will be sure to pass all of your comments on to Trafalgar's quality control team and ask them to review all safety guidelines. Thank you.

Very easy to work with Frank Fontanella--he got all the details right--no issues at all.
Everything about the sites and the vacation worked well except for the hotel experience in London at the Cumberland(Hard Rock). We were given a room for a single person when we had asked for a twin room. The rooms were not very clean and the service mediocre. On the bright side, we had a wonderful tour director who handled all issues that came up with great patience and a happy attitude which made all the difference for an enjoyable tour.
