GET was able to obtain the best possible airfares and flight schedules for us. They were also able to change our flight schedule when necessary. Our hotel arrangements were equally ideal and flexible. The tour company (Trafalgar) and tour type that they recommended gave us our ideal experience. All of this within our budget and in line with their initial estimate.
Response from Grand European Travel:
Thank you so much for the honor of letting us help you plan your first international trip! We hope it's the first of many more to come.

This was an ideal first international travel experience. Trafalgar Tours anticipated our needs and our tour guide Chris Tremlett provided the knowledge and commentary that we needed to appreciate the locales and people that we experienced. Our coach driver provided a safe, comfortable and timely ride, and we never had any concerns about the baggage handling. Also, Trafalgar is to be commended for providing a helpful health and safety advisor (Joe) on the coach. The coach was new and in excellent condition. While it's suspension and engine provided a smooth, quiet ride, the seats were fit for small to medium frame people. I am 6' 00" and 213 lbs. and was uncomfortable due to the seat contour. Otherwise space was adequate and visibility much better than I've had on U.S. coaches. Seating was assigned and changed daily to provide different perspectives.

Service
The booking experience was very good. Helpful individuals (not always the same person), and responsive & knowledgeable.
Vacation
We enjoyed every stop along the way. We knew beforehand that it would be a whirlwind trip, not spending a lot of time in most places. The stop at Stonehenge was too short in my opinion (there were a lot of people there and queues for the shuttle were long, so we had to cut short our audio tour). The weather was not bad - only occasional rain showers outside of England.

I have booked several vacations with GET. I waited two years for the last tour while GET held my full payment. On the day of departure I was disappointed in the customer service I received when I called for assistance.

Our tour guide for this tour was Chris Tremlett and Johnny was our tour driver. They were both excellent. Very professional and pleasant. They make the tour most enjoyable.
