With our journey at its close, we say goodbye to our new-found friends and transfer to Windhoek airport. Find out more about your free airport transfer at trafalgar.com/freetransfers. Please Note: This Namibia Adventure trip is run on a small group basis. The vehicle operating it will be smaller than a standard coach, relative to the number of guests, and it is standard tour operator practice in Namibia for trips of this group size to have a Driver Guide.  Roads in Namibia are a combination of tarmac roads and dirt/gravel roads where dust levels can be higher than in other parts of the world. The Namibian government implements a road maintenance programme but their condition can vary and sometimes journeys can feel less than smooth and rougher than on the tarmac roads.

GET provided a whole lot of documentation with very little explanation of what it was for.
Vacation
In a word it was terrible. I filled out the Trafalgar comments form while I was there and meant to go into detail in a report to them when I got back. But I'm too busy with moving into a new house to do that right now. Suffice it to say that the van was totally inadequate for 8 people and luggage, no big windows for viewing, no big tires or heavy duty shock absorbers. The roads were unbelieveably bad!! All day long every day of the trip. The guide was very nice and knowlegeable but totally unorganized especially about lunches. And when Trafalgar changed the itinerary mid trip he didn't even let us know that until 9 pm the night before when we were expecting to stay another night in the hotel and do game viewing around that area. He also dragged us to another site to see the petroglyphs even the World Heritage site place for them was right at the lodge. The
Response from Grand European Travel:
We are terribly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We will be sharing this information with our team at Trafalgar and a member of our Guest Relations team will be in touch with you directly. Thank you for bringing this to out attention.
