Perhaps this isn’t the first place you think of for a romantic getaway, but Prague’s unique history and captivating beauty merits a visit.  Much of the city’s present day charm can be attributed to the long reign of the Habsburgs, so why not start your day with an exclusive guided tour of Maria Theresa’s Schönbrunn Palace and formal gardens. Later, make your way to the 1,000-year-old Prague Castle, where you can admire the stained glass windows of St Vitus Cathedral and incredible views of the Old Town below.

Each of those cities was magnificent and we made many good memories.
Next year, 2018, we will find some company that offers a non-stop RT from SFO or SJC to/from Barcelona for a nine to 10 day tour .

We are also patiently waiting for some company to offer a trip to Ukraine, Moldova, Crimea, Yalta,
Sochi, Georgia, the eastern Black Sea how ’bout Azerbauan, Tiblisi, what about the CASPIAN Sea ? So much to see and at 80 years of age, so little time. Please hurry.

Love your list! Those are really amazing places, all perfect for romantic getaway:) I have just recently went to Europe with my husband for a little trip and the place that surprised me the most was Warsaw in Poland. I had no idea how great and romantic this city is. We spent there only few days, but they were incredible. We have seen stunning parks and went to few spots for couples. The one that we both loved the most was a cozy restaurant called the Akademia. The atmosphere was amazing, very elegant and the food excellent. It’s a perfect place for a date I never thought that I would like Polish capital so much!
