Today, it's mostly known for being a great spot to celebrate soccer wins with Real Madrid fans. Take mom to the Prado Museum, and share the experience of viewing the world's finest collection of Spanish paintings and masterpieces of Botticelli, Velázquez, and Goya. If your mom has never been to Spain:
Barcelona is the place to go if your mom has never been to Spain.
